Gail Bourque, PsyD, CMT
I am committed to the belief that our minds and bodies are dynamically interconnected. Troubles, traumas and everyday stress manifest in that dynamic process, sometimes as physical symptoms resulting from injuries or muscle tension, sometimes as mental disruption from stress or insults. I believe in addressing the whole person in the healing process, whether it is in the mind and/or the body. My long professional journey has taken me from being a physical therapist to finding a compassionate integrated hands-on work in Rosen Method Bodywork to becoming a Somatic Psychologist. I have taught mind body processes nationally and internationally, as well.
